*Important information regarding parking for graduation
Parking is very limited, please arrive early if you wish to park on campus.
Be advised, you might have to walk a significant distance from your vehicle to the stadium.
Handicap parking will be available. Vehicles must have a valid handicap decal posted.
Shuttle buses will be available at Lee Middle School and Poplar Rd. Elementary Schools to take friends and family to and from the ceremony. Buses will start shuttling people between 7:00am and 7:30am. After the ceremony, please wait at the marked shuttle areas to return to these schools.
Graduates will park in the gold lot by the new gym.
**In case of inclement weather**
If everything works, graduation will be live on the ECHS FB page on Saturday. Please share with family and friends that cannot attend. Also, if it rains, we will do the following:
If it's sprinkling, graduation will go as planned in the stadium.
We are encouraging everyone to bring a raincoat or poncho in lieu of an umbrella for the safety and enjoyment of the ceremony by everyone. If you choose to bring an umbrella into the stands, please be mindful and courteous to those around you.
If we experience thunder and lighting, we will instruct everyone to go into the building or return to their vehicle.
If needed, the graduation ceremony may be held until 11am, and if at that time there is no relief in sight, the ceremnoy will take place in the gym.
Each graduate will have two rain tickets for the gym.
There will also be classrooms that will stream the ceremony live.
Please remember this is a PLAN! There are no guarantees of any kind.
Several of our sports put out an annual media guide. If you would like to help in their fundraising efforts by taking out a personal or company advertisement, or if you would like to make a donation to a specific sport or club, please contact that coach or sponsor directly.
We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning and success, especially in regards to content and skill development that our students will experience in our classrooms this year. A list of Coweta County School System’s adopted instructional resources is accessible on our school system website (www.cowetaschools.net) and on each school’s website.
