Several 2008-09 assistant
principal positions approved by Coweta School Board

The Coweta County Board of Education
approved several new assistant principal positions at its
regular monthly meeting on June 10.
Theodore Travis was approved to be the assistant principal for
Northside Elementary School. Travis is currently an assistant
principal at White Oak Elementary School.
Sean Dye was approved to be the assistant principal for Ruth
Hill Elementary School. Dye is currently an assistant principal
at Smokey Road Middle School.
Dillia Smith was approved to be the assistant principal for
White Oak Elementary School. Smith is currently an assistant
principal at Ruth Hill Elementary School.
Vickie Vaughan was approved to be the assistant principal for
Willis Road Elementary School. Vaughan is currently an assistant
principal at East Coweta High School.
Maurice Brown was approved to be the assistant principal for
Smokey Road Middle. Brown is currently a Special Education
Teacher at Ruth Hill.
The Board approved the new positions on the recommendation of
Superintendent Blake Bass. The new positions will become
effective on July 1, 2008.
All vacant principal positions have been filled earlier for the
2008-09 school year. The board anticipates filling a few
remaining assistant principal positions before the start of the
2008-09 school year. |
