The Coweta County School System, ended the 2007-08 school year
on Friday, May 23. The 2008-09 school year will begin
Wednesday, August 6.
Coweta County High Schools ended the school year with annual
graduation ceremonies on May 22, 23 and 24. Nearly 1,300 high
school seniors and their school faculty donned caps and gowns
and academic regalia at Northgate, Newnan and east Coweta High
School stadiums. The full graduation ceremonies will be aired
on NuLink television Channel 7 beginning the week of June 2.

school’s Valedictorian and Salutatorian, are below.
Northgate High School -
Graduate List
Graduation: Thursday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. at Henry Seldon Field
This year’s Northgate High School
Valedictorian is Erin Blake, and
Salutatorian is Christopher Kirkland.
Newnan High School -
Graduate List
Graduation: Friday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Drake Stadium
This year’s Newnan High School Valedictorian is Katherine
Hendley, and Salutatorian is Julianne Wyrick.
East Coweta High School -
Graduate List
Graduation: Saturday, May 24, 9:00 a.m. at Shoemake Stadium
This year’s East Coweta High School
Valedictorian is Brandon Bringuel, and
Salutatorian is Christine Vitiello.
The Valedictorians and Salutatorians from Northgate, Newnan and
East Coweta High Schools will speak to their graduating classes
this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, as 1,200 students receive
diplomas at Coweta’s three high schools. Representing their
schools are, left to right, High School Valedictorian Erin Blake
and Salutatorian Christopher Kirkland, Newnan High School
Valedictorian Katherine Hendley and Salutatorian Julianne Wyrick,
and East Coweta High School Valedictorian Brandon Bringuel and
